Semolina pudding without a pot, without anything catching on the bottom and without constant stirring. For Protein Grießpudding you pour 200 ml of boiling water over one sachet, stir briefly and wait five minutes. Spooned warm it is classic semolina porridge; left to cool it sets into a firmer pudding — same sachet, two textures.
With 34 g of protein at 202 kcal it is the highest-protein of our three sachets: for every gram of carbohydrate there are roughly two grams of protein. Against conventional semolina pudding sweetened with sugar it holds 85 % less sugar and 90 % less fat, and there is no added sugar at all (contains naturally occurring sugars). A childhood classic, rebuilt for breakfast and for a late-evening dessert alike.
Ingredients & allergens
Ingredients: milk protein concentrate 67 %, durum wheat semolina 25 %, flavouring, thickener (gum arabic), glucomannan (from konjac root), salt, lactase, sweetener (sucralose).
Allergens: contains milk and wheat (durum wheat semolina).
Because of the durum wheat semolina, Protein Grießpudding contains gluten and is not gluten-free — if you are looking for a gluten-free option from this range, choose Protein Porridge with its gluten-free wholegrain oat flakes. It contains lactase, an enzyme that breaks down lactose, which usually makes it easier to digest — but it is not lactose-free, because the base is milk protein concentrate. Sweetened with sucralose, no added sugar; contains naturally occurring sugars. The label on the sachet is always authoritative.

Glucomannan in the context of an energy-restricted diet contributes to weight loss. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of 1 g each, together with 1–2 glasses of water, before meals and in the context of an energy-restricted diet.
Glucomannan contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 4 g of glucomannan.

Preparation & use
Preparation — ready in 5 minutes, no pot, nothing to burn:
- Empty one sachet (60 g) into a bowl.
- Add 200 ml of boiling water — a kettle is enough.
- Stir with a whisk until smooth.
- Cover and let it soak for 5 minutes.
- Eat it warm as semolina porridge or let it cool for a firmer semolina pudding.
Sweeter & more flavourful: stir in about 2 g of Chunky Flavour (roughly three quarters of a scoop) — this changes the stated nutritional values.
Drink alongside: have 1–2 glasses of water with your meal. The glucomannan from konjac root swells with liquid, and 1–2 glasses of water are also part of the official conditions of use for glucomannan.

What is Protein Grießpudding?
Protein Grießpudding is a high protein semolina pudding in a single-serve sachet — Grießpudding is simply the German word for it, and the same dish eaten warm is called Grießbrei. 60 g of powder, boiling water on top, five minutes of soaking. One serving delivers 34 g of protein at 202 kcal, which makes it the highest-protein of our three protein meals. Semolina accounts for just 25 % of the recipe, while 67 % is milk protein concentrate — that is why the protein-to-carb ratio sits at 2:1 instead of the other way round. High protein semolina pudding with no added sugar, no pan and no stirring at the stove.
Why you will love Protein Grießpudding
- 34 g of protein per serving — high protein content at 202 kcal per 60 g sachet.
- Twice as much protein as carbohydrates — 34 g of protein against 14 g of carbohydrates, a 2:1 ratio.
- 90 % less fat, 85 % less sugar — compared with conventional semolina pudding sweetened with sugar and made without sweeteners.
- No added sugar — 2.2 g of sugar per serving, sweetened with sucralose; contains naturally occurring sugars.
- Warm or cold — spooned straight away as a warm semolina porridge, chilled as a firm pudding.
- Five minutes, no pan — nothing burns to the bottom, nothing boils over, nothing to scrub.
How to prepare Protein Grießpudding
Tip 60 g — one sachet — into a bowl, pour 200 ml of boiling water over it, whisk it smooth and let it soak covered for five minutes. That is all: no pan, no constant stirring, no milk. Spooned warm you get the classic semolina porridge; leave the bowl in the fridge for a while and it firms up into a proper pudding. Cinnamon, a handful of berries or a little flavour powder from the Chunky Flavour range turn it into a different dessert in seconds — toppings do change the nutrition values shown on the pack.
Protein Grießpudding vs. conventional semolina pudding
Classic semolina pudding is boiled in milk, sweetened with sugar and often finished with butter — the result is a dish led by carbohydrates and fat, and you spend ten minutes at the stove stirring so nothing catches. This recipe replaces most of the semolina with milk protein: 34 g of protein against 14 g of carbohydrates, plus 0.8 g of fat and 2.2 g of sugar per serving. Compared with conventional semolina pudding sweetened with sugar and made without sweeteners, that is around 85 % less sugar and 90 % less fat. The German Nutrition Society recommends keeping free sugars below 10 % of daily energy intake — 2.2 g per serving leaves plenty of room.
Quality & ingredients
Ingredients: milk protein concentrate 67 %, durum wheat semolina 25 %, flavouring, thickener (gum arabic), glucomannan from the konjac root, salt, lactase, sweetener (sucralose). Unlike Protein Milchreis and Protein Porridge, which are sweetened with steviol glycosides, this one uses sucralose. Important if you are sensitive: durum wheat semolina contains gluten, so Protein Grießpudding is not gluten-free — if you need a gluten-free alternative, reach for the Protein Porridge with wholegrain oat flakes in gluten-free quality. It also contains milk protein and it is not vegan. The enzyme lactase breaks down the milk sugar, which usually makes the pudding easy to digest; lactose-free it is not. One serving contains 1.0 g of glucomannan. Glucomannan contributes to weight loss in the context of an energy-restricted diet. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of 1 g each, together with 1–2 glasses of water, before meals and in the context of an energy-restricted diet. The labelling on the packaging is always the binding source.
